Compared to last week: Most classes did not have enough comparable trades. A low undertone was noted, with a plain quality and moderate demand. Slaughter cows remained steady. Morning rainfall in the area made for a break in temperatures, which seemed to help cow receipts later in the day. Supply included: 10% Feeder Cattle ( 39% Steers, 37% Heifers, 24% Bulls); 82% Slaughter Cattle ( 85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle ( 78% Bred Cows, 20% Bred Heifers, 3% Cow-Calf Pairs).
