Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Steers and heifers weighing 600-700 lbs were 15.00-20.00 lower and most of them sold Tuesday as calves. Today's supply included some very attractive feeder steers, with several drafts of exceptional quality that keep the steer market stronger than feeder heifers. Steer and heifer calves 15.00-25.00 lower in a light test on most weight classes. Demand moderate. Two large drafts of heifers sold very well on Tuesday, serving as the highlight of the calf sale: 69 heifers 568 lbs at 387.50 and 83 heifers 604 lbs at 365. It was noted that the buyer of these two drafts had bought these same cattle in the past. Tuesday's supply included 48% un-weaned cattle. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle ( 59% Steers, 35% Heifers, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 76%.USDA market reporter, El Reno, OK
