Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers under 600 lbs sold 6.00-15.00, mostly 10.00 lower, over 600 lbs sold 2.00-8.00 higher. Demand good for long weaned, vaccinated and worked cattle. Fleshy and cattle with too much hair are steeply discounted. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 4.00 lower. Supply included: 91% Feeder Cattle ( 46% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle ( 93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle ( 30% Stock Cows, 20% Bred Cows, 40% Bred Heifers, 10% Cow-Calf Pairs).
